It is required by default. If you want to disable the authentication, this is done within the camera itself, under the user setup menu. Choose “anonymous user login”.

To add a camera, go to the left side of Composer and double click on the auto-detected camera. Doing so will add the camera automatically into your project.

The SDDP IP camera driver is pulling the default port. Is it possible for it to detect the port the camera is on?

The driver by default goes to port 80. This is because Channel Vision cameras are shipped on Port 80. You can however, manually change the port after the camera is detected.

The IP camera address should auto detect the IP. If it does not, try to update the firmware in the IP camera. Current firmware is always available for the elite series cameras  from Channel Vision Technical Support.
